I had a very good experience at the Detail King seminar and learned so many things I didn’t think I would. The business class had a lot of information, but Nick explained it very well for us and made it easy for me to understand. I enjoyed the second day of the seminar much more because they had staff that was able to explain everything very well.
I think anyone that plans on running a business either in a shop or mobile should attend a seminar at Nick Vacco’s Detail King Car Detailing Training Center because I’m sure they will learn something that can greatly help them. I got Detail King Certified March 2022!

To better improve the experience, I would add a start up chemical package with a few products for interior/exterior. I have Detailed for quite a long time and kind of knew a lot about paint correction, exterior detailing and interior detailing. After many years of it being a thought in back of my head, I decided to pull the trigger, and jump both feet in!! I’m building my automotive detailing business! So what did I do first, I went to DETAILKING.COM did research on the site and signed up right away for their 3 day craftsman seminar. I didn’t know much, very little, especially the business side of it. The weeks past by and before I knew it in was on my way to becoming a professional detailer and a entrepreneur. The first day was all about the business side, how to start, how to market, how to associate with customers and ways to grow my business. There is a lot of useful information I learned on how to go about starting and growing. I plan to take the class again as a refresher in the future.
As for other classes also. Nick Vacco, our instructor and the founder of Detail King did a great job explaining the ins and outs of the business and how we can be very successful and put in the work to becoming successful. Nick is a great instructor, kind, helpful and extremely knowledgeable and he cares about our success. The second and third day was all hands-on learning. The instructors, I can’t remember their names, They all did a fantastic job explaining all the equipment, products, and how, when, and why they are used.
They are extremely knowledgeable with their chemical products and tools. They showed us how to detail a vehicle properly from outside to inside, from top to bottom, it was a great experience, hands on taught me a lot more knowledge on how to use the equipment and how to use the chemicals and where to use them to gain experience on making your vehicle look new again! This was an awesome experience and exited to gain knowledge and experience in the detailing world!
I definitely plan on attending more training seminars in the future. Thank you detail king for the experience and doing a great job teaching, explaining and hands on fun! See you again soon. I became Detail King Certified and graduated December 2021

My business partner and I attended the 3 day craftsman class in Pittsburgh and what a great experience it was. Nick Vacco and the team at Detail King are extremely knowledgeable and great to work with. I started detailing as a hobby for me 10 years ago and it all started with Detail Kings products. I was a manager of detail shop even before enrolling in Nick Vacco’s Detail King Auto Detailing Training Institute. Even with my experience in the detailing business, I took away so much from my weekend at Detail King. The class size was nice with plenty of skilled trainers around that were so very helpful with any guidance or questions we had.
Day one upon returning back to my shop I was able to immediately start implementing some of things we were taught which really gave me the confidence I needed but also reignited my drive for detailing and being a better manager.

This past weekend I attended Nick Vacco’s Detail King 3 Day Craftsman training seminar. The first thing I would like to say is what an honor and a privilege it was to have Nick Vacco as the head instructor. The man is an entrepreneur and a genius on a different level. He’s one of those guys that 5 minutes after you meet him, you have this overwhelming urge to make him proud or to not let him down. He is a plethora of detailing knowledge and if he doesn’t have an answer for you, there probably isn’t one. Which leads me to his staff.
The amount of knowledge across the board is outstanding. And every one of them, even the young guys, not only knew their stuff, but knew how to present it and all of them had the ability to teach it without making you feel bad. In the first hour of hands on training I learned how to knock off two hours on my time to detail a car.
Not only would I recommend this course to anyone interested in the detailing industry, but I would recommend it to even the person with the nice car in their garage that likes to clean it him or herself, and I will also be taking the ceramic coating course in the very near future. I really enjoyed the 3-day Craftsman class at the Detail King Auto Detailing Training Institute. We learned a lot of the business side as well as spent two days of hands-on training. The business side touched on some key marketing areas that I didn’t think about engaging as well as some ways to market your business that I hadn’t thought of.
The hands-on training was very organized and detailed. There were plenty of trainers to answer questions from everyone throughout the process. All of the trainers were very knowledgeable in the products they were using as well as the procedures. If they didn’t know the answer to a question, there was another trainer there that did. The hands-on day was fun as well as very informative.
After your team finished detailing your car Nick Vacco went around and did an inspection and pointed out things that you missed. I thought that was good because as an auto detailer it’s the little things that will set you apart from others. Nick pointed those little details out that most auto detailers miss. I would recommend this training to new aspiring auto detailers as well as seasoned auto detailers. There was a good mix of students in my class and I feel that everyone learned something new. I graduated and became DK Certified May 2021!

As, probably, the least experienced member of my Detail King training class, I can say with assurance that this class was everything that it claimed to be and more. I feel that I have finished this class with the knowledge needed to start and operate my own mobile detailing business. I won’t lie… there was a lot of information to be ingested. However, the lessons were well structured and the hands on training was priceless.
I feel that the most valuable aspects of this class, aside from being spoon fed the blueprints to success, were the networking connections made with peers at various stages of operations within the industry AND the continued (post certification) access to the owner Nick Vacco and very knowledgeable instructors/staff of Detail King. Well…..I came to the Detail King Auto Detailing Training Course to get a live overview for car detailing. I just started in this what I like to call a “Hustle.” I wanted to know what I am doing wrong and what I am doing write and to correct the mistakes which I am doing wrong. Car detailing is not rocket science however it does take skill and skill as the instructors and assistance you will gain through experience. I been dealing with Jason my sales person since August.
There is a great spirit of welcoming at Detail King. Not feeling intimidated to ask questions when confused. Some students had more experience than others, so I guess for those with less like me I take it to be welcoming because I asked a lot of questions. I had a potential school to go to 2 hours away from where I am from. But that school was over $5,000 for 5 days. This coarse was $1,595 for me and and was definitely not going to spend $5,000+ on a coarse that was out of my reach. I think a smaller class would be better.
The Detail King staff welcomes emails and phone calls for any assistance they can possibly give you not only on products refresher but also on how to on a particular job which you want to do, I know this to be true because I called them on a topic and this was before I even took the class. Guys, by the way buy the Detail King Mytee 8070 carpet extractor. I bought it and got to use it at the shop there too
